Shauna James Ahern, a pork enthusiast, is the author of the popular blog Gluten-Free Girl which recently was named by the London Times as one of the 50 best food blogs in the world. She is also the author of the book Gluten-Free Girl: How I Found the Food That Loves Me Back...And How You Can Too.

Daniel Fitzgerald Ahern has chef experience at a variety of restaurants from coast to coast. From Gramercy Tavern in New York, to Papillon in Denver, to his most recent stint as executive chef at Impromptu Wine Bar in Seattle, Daniel has always loved cooking with pork.

Shauna and Daniel said YES to each other in July 2007 and are proud parents of a beautiful little girl.

PorkKnifeandSpoon.com is the official blog of the National Pork Board who also compensate Shauna and Daniel to manage the blog’s original content.
